Open Access Policy
Journal of Physical Education, Sport, and Human Performance (JPESHP) is an open-access journal committed to the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge and contributes to the advancement of science, education, and professional practice in physical education, sport, exercise, and human performance.
JPESHP provides immediate open access to all published articles. Readers are not required to register, subscribe, or pay any fee to access the full text of articles published in the journal.
Free and Immediate Access
All articles published in JPESHP are freely and permanently available online immediately upon publication. Users are permitted to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, link to the full texts of articles, and use them for other lawful purposes in accordance with the applicable license, without financial, legal, or technical barriers other than those inseparable from gaining access to the internet itself.
JPESHP does not impose an embargo period on published articles. The full text of each article becomes openly accessible as soon as the article is officially published on the journal website.
Open Access Principles
JPESHP supports the principles of open scholarly communication by:
- providing unrestricted online access to published scholarly content;

Author Self-Archiving
JPESHP supports author self-archiving. Authors may deposit and disseminate their published articles through institutional repositories, subject repositories, personal academic websites, and other appropriate scholarly platforms, provided that proper bibliographic information and a link to the official version published by JPESHP are included.
Authors are encouraged to use the published version of record when depositing their articles whenever permitted under the journal's copyright and licensing provisions.
