Submissions

Author Guidelines

Authors are invited to submit original research manuscripts that have not been previously published and are not under consideration elsewhere. All submissions must align with the journal’s scope, focus, and ethical standards in the field of mathematics education and related innovations.

1. Manuscript Preparation

• File format: Microsoft Word (.docx).

• Font and spacing: Cambria, 11 pt, 1.15 spacing, A4 paper size, with 2.5 cm margins on all sides.

• Length: Manuscripts should be between 10–15 pages (approximately 4,000–7,000 words).

• Title: Maximum 15 words, written in Cambria 14 pt, centered, and in sentence case.

• Author information: Include full name(s), affiliation(s), e-mail address(es), and ORCID ID(s). Mark the corresponding author with an asterisk (*).

• Abstract:

  • For manuscripts in Bahasa Indonesia: provide abstracts in both Indonesian and English.

  • For manuscripts in English: abstract in English only.

  • Maximum 250 words, single paragraph, no citations, in Cambria 10 pt, single-spaced.

  • Include 3–5 keywords and the 2020 Mathematics Subject Classification (MSC) if applicable.

2. Manuscript Structure

Manuscripts should be arranged in the following sections:

1. Introduction – Background, relevance, research gap, and objectives.

2. Research Method – Research design, participants, instruments, procedures, and data analysis.

3. Results and Discussion – Clear presentation of findings and interpretation supported by relevant references.

4. Conclusion – Main findings, implications, and suggestions for further research.

5. Acknowledgment (optional) – For research funders or institutional support.

6. References – Only sources cited in the text, written in APA 7th Edition style using a reference manager (Mendeley/Zotero/EndNote). At least 60% of the references should be from reputable journals within the last 10 years.

3. Tables, Figures, and Equations

• Tables: Title above the table; centered and numbered sequentially.

• Figures: Title below the figure; centered and high-resolution (preferably in PDF or EPS format).

• Equations: Created using Equation Editor or MathType, centered, and numbered on the right side (e.g., (1), (2), (3)).

• Theorems/Definitions: Written in italics, with bold numbering (e.g., Theorem 1, Definition 2), and proofs ending with a ■ symbol.

4. Ethical Considerations

Authors must ensure their work is original and free from plagiarism.
All manuscripts will be screened using plagiarism detection software. Manuscripts with similarity index exceeding 20% (excluding references) will not be considered.

5. Peer Review Process

All submitted manuscripts undergo double-blind peer review by at least two reviewers. Reviewers evaluate manuscripts based on originality, clarity, methodology, and contribution to mathematics education research. The editorial board reserves the right to make editorial revisions for clarity and consistency.

6. Submission and Registration

Authors must register and log in to the JRIMED online system before submitting their manuscript. Submission is completed through a five-step online process provided on the journal’s website.

7. Article Processing Charge (APC)

JRIMED applies an Article Processing Charge (APC) of IDR 300,000 (three hundred thousand rupiah) per accepted manuscript. This fee covers editorial management, peer review, DOI registration, and online publication.

8. Copyright and Open Access

Authors retain the copyright of their published work. All articles are distributed under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike (CC BY-SA 4.0) license, allowing unrestricted use, distribution, and reproduction provided that proper credit is given to the original author(s) and the source.
