About the Journal

The Journal of Research and Innovation in Mathematics Education (JRIMED) is established in response to these foundational needs. It is envisioned as a leading international platform for academics, researchers, educators, policymakers, and practitioners to disseminate empirical findings, theoretical advancements, and practical insights that contribute to advancing the global discourse and practice of mathematics education. While upholding rigorous international standards of scholarship, JRIMED based in Makassar, South Sulawesi, Indonesia—also emphasizes the importance of culturally responsive pedagogies in mathematics education. The journal is published in collaboration with the Doctoral Program in Mathematics Education at Universitas Negeri Makassar, Indonesia. Accordingly, JRIMED actively encourages high-quality research that critically examines the dynamic interplay between local contexts and global developments within the field.
